Rains predicted in the Eastern, Uva provinces tomorrow
The Meteorological Department has predicted that showers will occur in the Eastern and Uva Provinces and also in the Hambantota District tomorrow (Jan 8).
Few places in the Sabaragamuwa and Western provinces and in Galle, Matara and Nuwara-Eliya districts could also experience showers or thundershowers in the afternoon or night.
The weather forecast noted that mainly fair weather will prevail in other parts of the country.
