Rajagiriya accident: Six students still hospitalized

Six students from Royal College, Colombo, who were injured in the fatal accident at Silva Lane, Rajagiriya are still undergoing treatment at the National Hospital. One student was killed in the crash, which occurred on Sunday (12). 

National Coordinator (Training ) Accident and Orthopaedic Service at the National Hospital, Pushpa R. Zoysa said that three of the students are still in critical condition and are undergoing treatments at the Intensive Care units (ICUs) at the hospital's Accident Ward and Neuro Trauma section.

The other three students are undergoing treatment in hospital wards, she added. 

The accident had taken place on in the early hours of Sunday when the students were retuning home after a meeting and a rehearsal of an upcoming collage event.
