UNP leader Ranil Wickremesinghe is set to be sworn in as Prime Minister, UNP parliamentarian Rajitha Senaratne has said.
MP Senaratne had further stated the swearing in ceremony will take place at 10 am on Sunday.
The United National Party on its Twitter handle has also confirmed the move to appoint Mr. Wickremesinghe as Prime Minister on the said time and date.

Meanwhile, it is reported that UNP leader Ranil Wickremesinghe and President Maithripala Sirisena had engaged in a telephone conversation a short while ago.
