Ranil to meet President Gotabaya today
Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe will meet President Gotabaya Rajapaksa to discuss matters concerning the Parliament and his Premiership.
It is expected that the PM would discuss whether the United National Front government should sit in the Opposition paving the way to appoint a new Prime Minister, or whether Parliament should be dissolved at its earliest.
Yesterday (Nov 18), the UNP Parliamentary group had agreed on a proposal to dissolve Parliament, sources said.
