Ranil to remain as UNP leader ; party announces other names for top posts
UNP's working committee has taken its decision to retain Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe as the leader of the party.
Further, the committee had also approved several other members to be given positions in the party. The names are as follows :
- Deputy Leader - Sajith Premadasa
- Assistant Leader - Ravi Karunanayake
- Chairman - Kabir Hashim
- General Secretary - Akila Viraj Kariyawasam
- National Organiser - Navin Dissanayake
- Trade Union Secretary - Palitha Range Bandara
