Ranjan Ramanayake arrives at Supreme Court

Deputy Minister of Social Empowerment, Welfare and Kandyan Heritage, Ranjan Ramanayake has arrived at the Supreme Court in responmse to a notice to appear over contempt of court charges.

Mr Ramanayake had earlier been issued notice on October 12 to appear before the Supreme Court on October 25 over allegations leveled by several parties that he had been in contempt of court.
