UNP MP Ranjan Ramanayake has been notified to appear before the Supreme Court on December 07 over charges of contempt.
MP Ramanayake has been accused of making defamatory comments against lawyers and the judicary at a press conference.
The UNP MP, however, had pleaded not guilty when the case was taken up before the Supreme Court on previous occasions.
