A regional office of the Immigration and Emigration Department will be opened in Galle by the end of this year, Home Affairs Minister Vajira Abeywardena said.
Accordingly, passports could be obtained at this office after submitting the relevant documents, he noted.
The Minister noted that this office would be set-up at the Galle District Secretariat.
