The registration fee required to be paid by Sri Lankans employed overseas to the Sri Lanka Bureau of Foreign Employment (SLBFE) has been reduced.
The registration fee which stood at Rs 17,837 has been reduced to Rs 16,416. The fee to renew the registration has also been reduced from Rs 3755 to Rs 3456.
These changes will come into effect from December 1, Deputy General Manager Jagath Batugedara said in a statement.
