Richard Peiris wins 99-year lease contract for multi-development project
Richard Peiris Distributors Ltd has won a 99-year lease contract to construct a multi development project in Kottawa.
The project would see the construction of a luxury shopping mall along with other entertainment facilities on a 19.4-acre plot land along High-Level Road.
A proposal to this effect had been approved by the cabinet this week, after being put forward by the Ministry of Megapolis and Western Development.

SLAF Bell 212 crashes into Maduru Oya
A Sri Lanka Air Force Bell 212 helicopter belonging to the No. 72 squadron has crashed into the Madhuru Oya reservoir this morning, Air FOrce Media Spokesman Eranda Geeganage said.
