Sabaragamuwa uni students protest in Colombo

News

Students of the Sabaragamuwa University held a protest in front of the University Grants Commission (UGC) in Colombo today. 

The students called for the establishment of a medical facutly at the university. They also protested against what they termed were attempts to privatize university education. Several other pressing issues faced by university students were also highlighted at the protest.
