Saman Rathnapriya sworn in as MP
Prominent trade unionist Saman Rathnapriya today (5) took oaths as a United National Party (UNP) National List MP in Parliament.
Mr Rathnapriya's name was gazetted by the Election Commission to fill the seat left vacant by the resignation of UNP National List MP Dr Jayampathy Wickramaratne.
