Former Deputy Minister and Chairman of Development Lotteries Board Sarana Gunawardena was arrested by Colombo Crimes Division (CCD) for misuse of state vehicles, police said.
Earlier he pleaded guilty for not declaring assets during tenure of two years as Chairman of Lottery board from 2005 to 2007. The Colombo magistrate’s Court fined him Rs 2000 and he was released.
