Former Deputy Minister Sarana Gunawardena who was remanded over an alleged assault incident, has been released on bail by Gamphaha District court today. He was released today on two personal bonds of Rs.50,000 each. Mr. Gunawardena was arreated during the general election period over the incident of assaulting where a UNP supporter was attacked.
