Sathyagraha calling for Gnanasara Thera's release held in Naththandiya

A Sathyagraha was held in Naththandiya town yesterday (19) calling for the release of Bodu Bala Sena (BBS) General Secretary Ven.Galagoda Aththe Gnanasara Thera and to allow him to keep wearing his monk's robes in prison.  

The Sathyagraha was organized by the Naththandiya Bhikkhu Alliance. A heavy police presence was visible in the town as the protest was taking place.
