The Fundamental Rights (FR) petition filed by former Minister and the Leader of the All Ceylon Muslim Congress Rishad Bathiudeen seeking Court’s directive to prevent his arrest was rejected by the Supreme Court today.
Earlier, former Minister has filed an FR petition before the Supreme Court requesting the Court to grant an interim order preventing him from being arresting by the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) over the the bombings that occurred on the 21 st of April 2019.
