Principals of all schools used for tomorrow's Grade 5 Scholarship examination and the GCE Advanced Level examination scheduled to begin from Monday have been appointed as Deputy Invigilators. The Ministry of Education stated that the principals will coordinate with the Ministry of Health to deal with any medical emergency at their schools.
A total of 1718 students resident in the Gampaha district are scheduled to travel to schools in Colombo tomorrow to sit for the Grade 5 Scholarship Examination. The Education Ministry noted that 11 special examination centres have been designated in schools in the Gampaha district for such students to sit their exams within the Gampaha district. Students from Gampaha who were scheduled to sit their exams in Colombo schools can make their way to the designated special examination centres that is closest to their place of residence, the ministry added.
Students from Gampaha who still wish to sit their exam in Colombo can do so. They will be designated a separate examination hall to sit the exam, the ministry added.
