Schools will re-open for academic activities from June 29th onwards in different stages, Education Minister Dullas Alahpperuma said today.
Ministre Alahapperuma addressing a press conference said that on Jnue 29th only the teachers and non-academic staff will be required come to school to make the preparations for the re-opening.
The students of grade five, 11 and 13 are expeted to come in on July 6th.
Grade 10 and 12 students are expected to come in from July 20th onwards while students of grade three, four, six, seven, eight and nine are expected to come in from July 27th onwards.
A decision is yet to be taken regarding the opening for grade one and two students.
