The selling rate of the rupee to a US dollar continued to sky-rocket as it hit a record high of 182.27 rupess, according to the Central Bank of Sri Lanka (CBSL).
The CBSL also noted that the buying rate stood at 178.32 rupees while the exchange rate stood at 180.39 rupees per US dollar
