Senior officials of the Criminal Investigations Department (CID) and Terrorist Investigations Department (TID) are set to appear before the Parliamentary Select Committee (PSC) probing the Easter Sunday attacks today (Jun 04).
CID Director SSP Shani Abeysekara, CID Senior DIG Ravi Seneviratne, TID Director Warna Jayasundera and former TID Director DIG Nalaka de Silva will appear before the Committee.
The second sittings of the committee will take place with live broadcasts being stopped to prevent prejudicial content from being shared through the media.
Intelligence Chief Sisira Mendis and Defence Secretary General (Rtd) Shantha Kottegoda testified during the first sittings of the Committee on May 29.
