Senior Navy officers receive interest free loans worth Rs 19.5 million
Interest free loans worth Rs 19.5 million were distributed among 39 senior Navy officers this week.
According to the Navy, each officer had received a loan of Rs 500,000.
The Naval Benefit Fund had provided Rs 19.5 million to the total loan.
More than 2500 senior officers are expected to receive these loans in near future.
Navy said that these loans have been disributed for the long service rendered by these officials to the Navy.
