Several areas in Eastern province declared isolated
Several areas coming under Akkaraipattu police division, Addalachenai and Alayadiwembu police divisions have been declared as isolated from Thursday (17) morning until further notice, Head of National Operation Centre for Prevention of COVID-19, Lt. General Shavendra Silva said.
Akkaraipattu-5, Akkaraipattu-14 and city limit-3 coming under Akkaraipattu police division, Palamunai-1, Oluvil-2, Addalachenai-8 of Addalachenai police division and Alayadiwembu- 8/1 , Alayadiwembu-8/3 and Alayadiwembu-9 have been declared as isolated.
Meanwhile, Alupotha grame sevaka division in Moneragala also has been declared as isolated, Gen. Shavendra Silva announced.
