National Police Commission (NPC) has approved the transfer of several Deputy Inspector General of police (DIG) DIGs and Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP) on the recommendation of the Inspector General of Police (IGP), police said. The transfers have been made considering the service requirement.
Accordingly, DIG R.L. Kodithuwakku has been transferred to Kalutara District from Sabaragamuwa and DIG G.K. Perera has been transferred to Sabaragamuwa from Kalutara District. In addition, 9 ASPs have also been transferred.
