All shops selling essential goods and pharmacies in Western province are instructed to open from 8.00 am to 10 pm tomorrow(29) as quarantine curfew for the entire province will be imposed from tomorrow(29) midnight till 5 am on November 2, the Government Information Department said.
Initially, it was decided to allow shops and pharmacies in curfew imposed areas in Colombo and Kurunegala districts to be open on Tuesdays and Fridays.
Shops and pharmacies in Gampaha and Kalutara districts were allowed to be opened on Mondays and Thursdays.
