Showers expected today

News

Several spells of showers will occur in the Western, Sabaragamuwa, Central, Southern and North-Western provinces, Meteorology department said issuing today weather forecast. A few showers may occur in the Mannar and Anuradhapura districts too.

Showers or thunder showers are likely at a few places in the Uva and Eastern provincesafter 2.00 pm. Strong winds at times can be expected over the country, particularly over Western slopes of the central hills and Southern provinceand over the Southern sea area.
