Singaporean company to supply coal for Puttalam power plant
A Singaporean company has won a bid to supply 300,000 metric tonnes of coal for the Norochcholai Coal Power Plant in Puttalam.
Cabinet approval had been granted to award the tender to Swiss Singapore Overseas Enterprises Pte Ltd..
A proposal to this effect was put forward to Cabinet by the Power and Energy Ministry.
