President Maithripala Sirisena yesterday (Nov 23) said that he would author a book titled 'Ranil Samaga Asarthaka Deshapalana Deegaya' which he hopes to publish in January next year.
Speaking at the Annual Gem and Jewellery Authority Presidential Awards ceremony he said that the book will revolve around his "unsuccessful political marriage with Ranil Wickremesinghe" during the UPFA-UNP coalition government.
He called on all those who criticized his daughter´s book titled 'Janadipathi Thaththa', to read his book as well.
President Sirisena also criticized yesterday's adjournment debate in Parliament by calling it one-sided.
"There is no fairness in that debate," he said.
