Six persons were injured and hospitalized after a lorry carrying electric generators veered off the road and toppled at Passara this morning (8).
Police said the lorry had been traveling towards Meeyanakandawura from Namunukula when the driver had lost control of the lorry, causing it to veer off the road and topple.
Six persons who were in the vehicle suffered injuries in the incident. Two of them were admitted to the Badulla Hospital while four others were admitted to the Passara Hospital. Passara Police are investigating.
