Sri Lankan Army Chief Lieutenant General Shavendra Silva and Chinese Defence Attache Xu Jianwei during a recent meeting discussed matters on improving training modules for Sri Lankan tri-forces personnel.
The meeting took place at the Army Headquarters this week, both defence personnel had held talks on the bilateral relations between the military organisations of both countries, Sri Lanka Army said.
Lt. Gen. Silva had thanked Mr Jianwei for the cooperation extended by China towards the Sri Lanka Army over the last few years.
Both individuals had then exchanged mementos towards the end of the discussion.
