The Sri Lanka Freedom Party (SLFP) and the Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna (SLPP) will hold its next discussion on the proposed alliance on April 10.
This would be the third round of official discussions which would be taking place between both parties.
Meanwhile, matters pertaining to 20 points were discussed during today's discussion, SLFP General Secretary Dayasiri Jayasekara said.
MP Dayasiri Jayasekara, MP Thilanga Sumathipala, and Professor Rohana Lakshman Piyadasa represented the SLFP while the SLPP was represented by its Chairman Professor G.L. Peiris and a few other members of his party.
