The SLFP has appointed a 10-membwe committee headed by Minister Nimal Siripala de Silva to syudy the 20th Amendment to the Constitution.
The committee is due to submit its recommendations to the SLFP, a party spokesman said.
The other members of the committee are; Professor Rohana Lakshman Piyadasa, Minister Mahinda Amaraweera, State Ministers Dayasiri Jayasekera and Duminda Dissanayake, MPs Shan Wijayalal de Silva and Sarathi Dushmantha, Attorneys-at-Law Fizer Mustafa and Sanjaya Gamage, and Dr Chamil Liyanage.
