Disciplinary action would be taken against Sri Lanka Freedom party (SLFP) members who accept the position of organiser in another party or alliance, parliamentarian Mahinda Amaraweera said.
Mr Amaraweera, the General Secretary of the United People's Freedom Alliance (UPFA) under which the SLFP falls under, made these remarks at a press briefing held yesterday (Jun 20).
His remarks came in the wake of the United National Party's decision to offer the positions of organisers to certain SLFP members who had supported the government.
