The Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna (SLPP) will carry out its election campaigns for the upcoming presidential polls through a mobile app called ‘V Can’.
Parliamentarian Namal Rajapaksa, a member of the SLPP, said that the party would begin its first e-canvassing service on August 3 and 4.
Taking to his twitter handle, he noted that this app would be launched "as a part of going digital" during election campaigns. The pledges of the party would be outlined in this app, MP Rajapaksa noted.
The SLPP is set to announce its presidential candidate on August 5.
