Maduluwawe Sobitha Thera, is t to stage a Sathyagraha today (April 27) morning, in a bid to urge the authorities to enact the 19th Amendment to the Constitution, local media reported Sobitha Thera will hold the Sathyagraha at the Independence Square in Colombo. The debate on the 19th Amendment is also scheduled to commence in Parliament today.
