Six individuals including actress Sonia Disa, who was remanded on charges of trespassing the offices of the New Sama Samaja Party in Slave Island, were released on bail by the Colombo Fort Magistrate’s Court today (Feb 18). Hearings of the complainant are to be taken up again on April 27. The Magistrate ordered the police to record a statement from NSSP leader, Dr. Wickremebahu Karunaratne, while it also instructed Police to conduct an inquiry on Sonia Disa about ownership of land and tax, and to submit a report to court.
