Bus tolls for using certain sections of the Southern Expressway will be reduced from midnight in keeping with the festive season.
The price revision will be in effect for buses using the expressway between Matara and Negombo, and between Galle and Negombo, the Passenger Transport Management Ministry said.
Accordingly, buses travelling from Negombo to Matara will be charged Rs 700. The previous toll stood at Rs 720. Buses plying from Negombo to Galle will be charged Rs 600. The previous rate was Rs 630.
