Speaker Karu Jayasuirya in response to President Maithripala Sirisena has said that the country is in an unstable position due to his decisions.
He also urged the President to call for a majoirty vote in Parliament and solve the present crisis on behalf of the people.
He further added that the best method to solve the current impasse prevailing in this country which has practised democracy for over 70 years, is by engaging in discussions.

Former President Mahinda Rajapaksa is due to vacate his official residence at Wijerama Mawatha, Colombo this morning, a Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna (SLPP) source said.
