In a bid to find a solution and an end to the current political impasse in the country, Speaker Karu Jayasuriya is set to meet with President Maithripala Sirisena this evening (Nov 15).
Meanwhile, speaking at a briefing MP Patali Champika Runawaka said Party leaders who supported the No Confidence motion, will also be attending this gathering with the President scheduled to take place at 5pm. A number of senior UNP MPs are also expected to join.
