Special discussions underway at Elections Commission(EC); PAFFREL to request EC to seek Supreme Court opinion on polls
Special discussions are underway at the elections commission regarding the election process, sources said.
Meanwhile, PAFFREL Executive Director Rohana Hettiarachchi says they will request from the Elections Commissioner to seek a Supreme Court decision regarding the hold of General Elections. He said there are many contrary views being shared and as such the Elections Commission should seek a fair decision from the Supreme Court.
