Special operation to arrest misbehaving individuals during Big Match season in Kandy
A special operation will be conducted by the police in order to apprehend individuals who displayed unruly behaviour during the Big Match season in Kandy.
Accordingly, individuals who cause disruption to the normal traffic flow in the area and inconvenience the public by organising vehicle parades without obtaining prior permission from the police, will be arrested during this special operation.
Arrangements have been made to deploy teams of Special Task Force (STF) personnel and also organise mobile inspection tours during this period.
