Special operation to trackdown underworld criminals in Jaffna
The Police launched a special operation in Jaffna yesterday (Dec 22) to track down individuals linked to criminal groups or involved in underworld activities.
The Special Task Force and the Army also joined the exercise. However, no suspects were apprehended during the operation.
The Jaffna Police said that such operations will be continued in future to ensure the security of the people in the area.
