A special party leaders meeting chaired by Speaker Karu Jayasuriya will be convened at the Parliamentary complex tomorrow (Dec 18).
Political sources say that the Parliament's future course of action would be discussed during the meeting.
The UPFA, which had boycotted previous party leaders meetings in the recent past had expressed signs of willingness to attend the meeting.
Meanwhile, UPFA parliamentarian Dinesh Gunawardena yesterday (Dec 16) said that his party has decided to sit in the opposition in Parliament with Mahinda Rajapaksa set to be nominated as the Opposition Leader.
Parliamentary proceedings will commence at 1 pm tomorrow.
