Sri Lanka's Permanent Representative to the UN, Dr Rohan Perera paid a farewell call on UN Secretary General Antònio Guterres as his term comes to an end, Sri Lanka's UN Mission said.
He had thanked the UN Secretary General for the co-operation extended towards strengthening the relationship between Sri Lanka and the UN regarding peacebuilding and sustainable development goals, the Mission said in a press release.
The retiring Ambassador had expressed hope that Mr. Guterres would visit Sri Lanka in future in his capacity as UN Secretary General.
