An employee of the SriLankan airline cargo division at the Bandaranaike International Airport has tested positive for COVID, adding to the number of persons tested positive after the detection of a cluster of COVID patients from Minuwangoda.
About 50 workers associated with the cargo division employee are to be put under PCR testing.
Today 39 more persons were tested positive from the Minuwangoda cluster.
Twenty five of them were from quarantine centres while 14 were close contacts of the Brandix factory employees at Minuwangoda.
