St Joseph’s College Colombo today confirmed that a parent of one of the students was tested positive for Covid-19, but assured that the college remained compliant to all the safety regulations.
The Media Communications Team of the College said that the other family members of the parent were due to undergo PCR tests while being quarantined as a precautionary measure.
“Please remain calm, as College has informed all concerned parents and teachers of the development”, the statement said.
St Joseph’s College remained compliant to all the safety regulations throughout, and continues to monitor the Josephian community during this period to ensure all Josephians remain safe. We the Josephian community, will continue to pray for the safety of all those who are affected, those are awaiting results of the PCR tests, as well as the rest of all Sri Lankans”, the statement added.
“Let us have a Christ like approach in dealing with a difficult situation like this, being concerned and sympathetic towards the affected, and those who are suffering,” the statement said.
