State Minister of Aviation in Sri Lanka Faizer Mustapha today according to local media reports has tendered his resignation as a State Minister of the new government . Mr Mustapha was quoting as telling local media that he was resigning owing to pursue his legal career and that the decision was purely on a professional and personal basis. However, the former minister was quoted as saying that he would continue to support the President and the Prime Minister. "I don't need Ministerial portfolios or positions to support good governance," Mustapha was quoted as telling media . However, he said he would contest the forthcoming General Elections.
