STF arrests three for heroin smuggling

Three suspects who were allegedly transporting 33.73 grams of heroin in a car were arrested by Special Task Force (STF) personnel in Kadawatha on Wednesday (26) night. The suspects were arrested by personnel from the Rajagiriya STF camp following a tip-off. 

The suspects, aged 37, 25 and 39 years, are residents of Makola, Nagoda and Mattakkuliya. They were handed over to the Kadawatha Police, and remanded till October 10 after being produced before the Mahara Magistrate's Court yesterday (27).
