Special Task Force (STF) officers have raided a cannabis plantation in the Yala Reserve in Kataragama, police said.
They said the the quarter acre plot had about 700 cannabis plants. The STF officers destroyed the plants by setting fire to them.
No suspects have been arrested so far. Further investigations are underway.
