A cache of ammunition has been recovered from a forest reserve in Galaha yesterday (Jun 30), police said.
STF officers in Gampola and the Galaha Police had recovered the ammunition during a joint search operation last night.
Among the seized items were 2.8 kilos of gun powder, 1.7 kilos of ammonium nitrate, and four gelignite sticks.
Galaha police are conducting further investigations into the matter.
