Two vehicles suspected to have been purchased using the drug trade earnings of Makandure Madush have been taken into custody at Sapugaskanda today (Feb 13).
STF personnel who had carried out an inspection at the residence of Madush's mistress' late aunt's residence had discovered a K.D.H vehicle and a Prado Jeep.
The K.D.H motor vehicle was found to have been registered under the late aunt's name while the Prado Jeep was registered under the mistress' name itself.
Both vehicles are due to be handed over to the Sapugaskanda Police Station.
An Attorney at law and his wife was shot dead in the car park of a super market in Akuregoda today evening.
